David's original song, New Guitar, has been recorded and is now available.    

David's New Guitar Story:
In the process of buying a new guitar I found a feature on eBay (bill me later) that allowed me to buy a guitar, try it out, then send it back if I didn’t like it in any way.  This happened three times before I found the right one but the good news is that while I was waiting on the deliveries of these guitars, I wrote our new song “New Guitar” that has just been released to radio.

Howdy Folks!  The new recording of our song, Every Day Is Christmas, is now out to radio and available via all your streaming sources.   

We are excited to have gone back into the studio and re-record our original Christmas song.  The new version features new instrumentation and a fresh sound, ensuring that the song remains true to the Hanshaws' style while providing a modern twist.  Everyone can enjoy this new addition to their collection and experience the joy of "Every Day Is Christmas" once again.

Howdy Folks, as many of you know, we have been living and performing in Texas for many years.   We have loved the music scene, all the wonderful musicians and songwriters and the camaraderie.   We love Texas but we also love Arizona.  As it turns out we had the opportunity to move back to Arizona to enjoy the mountains, the sun and the dry heat.  LOL.  Quite a change from the Houston weather.  We have made the move and are once again residing in Arizona.  We love it here and we have even reconnected with some of our old musician buddies that we knew and worked with here many years ago.   We are excited to be back and look forward to performing in Tucson again.  

We have just returned from Nashville where we have recorded some new music!  More to come… Yay.

11/10/2021 - Just in time for Christmas... we wrote a Christmas duet.  The song is now available on all digital platforms. Also available on our music page for streaming or to download.

David and Kelly collaborated on their song, Every Day Is Christmas, which was released to radio and streaming platforms November, 2021.  The song was awarded for Collaboration of The Year by the Houston Songwriters Association.
